“If you don’t know the question to ask, you never know there’s a problem.”

For Vincent Gaudiuso, giving a simple response to what would appear to be a simple question probably results in an incorrect answer most of the time. That’s why he prefers to thoroughly learn the details of an issue before responding to a client with a solution.

A partner in the New Jersey office, Vincent Gaudiuso provides a range of expertise in auditing, tax, financial systems and other consulting services for employee benefit plans, non-profit organizations, individuals and privately held and family-owned businesses.

Upholding Outstanding Quality

As Quality Control Partner, Vincent has the unique opportunity to combine his client experience with ensuring current technical standards are being adhered to and applied.

Charged with making sure the firm’s policies and procedures are in compliance with professional standards, Vincent’s responsibilities include providing the firm with technical updates, training and research with respect to audit and accounting matters, and oversight of the firm’s system of quality control over the audit practice. He takes a team approach to working with the other audit partners and experiences great satisfaction in supporting their engagements.

Prior to joining Buchbinder in 2007 as the firm’s quality control manager, Vincent spent 11 years at a New York firm where he managed engagements and assisted with implementing and monitoring its quality control system. He also worked as a controller for a closely held commodities services firm in New York where he assisted in redesigning the company’s domestic and foreign accounting information and reporting systems to achieve more timely and efficient reporting.

In his spare time, Vincent enjoys coaching little league baseball, gardening, fishing and participating in the great outdoors.

Vincent earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Long Island University and a Master of Studies in Taxation at the Graduate School of Business Administration at Fordham University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where he is an appointed member of the Independence-Behavioral Standards Subcommittee and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on its Peer Review Committee. Vincent is licensed to practice in New York State and New Jersey.
