A partner in the New Jersey office, Marc joined Buchbinder in 1999 after many years of providing audit, tax and accounting services at a New York firm. His diversified background and extensive experience in the accounting industry allows Marc to provide broader, cost benefit services to his clients.
Marc works with privately held and family-owned businesses and non-profit organizations across a variety of industries, including apparel, professional services, paper and energy. He conducts audits, prepares financial statements, income tax returns, advises on income tax reduction strategies and planning, as well as provides business consulting. He helps clients with succession planning, acquisitions and valuations. Marc is also highly experienced in sales tax and payroll tax compliance and provides historically successful representation with IRS and government agencies.

For Marc, his greatest gratification comes from a satisfied client. He enjoys working with his clients to achieve their long term financial and quality of life goals through substantive planning and guidance.
Marc serves as the president of Spook Rock Men’s Golf Club in Suffern, NY, where he is also co-chairman of the club’s Fundraiser for Junior Golf. He is also a licensed insurance agent for Life and Health. Marc has served as regional board member of TD Bank and was the first elected president of a condominium association.
Aside from holding a single digit golf handicap, Marc enjoys watching the New York Rangers, Knicks, Giants and Mets.
Marc earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed to practice in New York.
