Jeffrey Richman is a Partner in Buchbinder’s New York office. With over 30 years of experience, he works closely with small and medium-sized privately held and family-owned businesses in professional service industries such as law firms. He also works with clients in the manufacturing, jewelry and real estate industries.

Jeffrey oversees the preparation of tax returns for clients and conducts interim tax research and planning throughout the year. He provides tax planning to high net worth individuals, has extensive experience with compliance matters pertaining to individuals, partnerships and privately held and family-owned businesses, and is well versed in working with trusts and estates and private foundations. Jeffrey also represents clients before federal and state tax authorities.

Advising his clients on the best way to minimize their tax liabilities while keeping compliant with regards to the ever-changing tax laws and filing requirements, Jeffrey places importance on deconstructing complex issues at hand. He always makes sure a client is well informed, knows what the ramifications and alternatives are, and what approaches to take – without the complications of tax jargon.
