Business Continuity During the COVID-19 Pandemic
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to impact our region, we would like to offer assurances to you that Buchbinder is prepared and properly organized to handle any potential challenges. We appreciate that you may have concerns about potential business disruptions. We can assure you that you will continue to experience the same level of service, integrity, and responsiveness to which you are accustomed. It is our priority to ensure the continued full support of our clients while protecting the health of our staff.
At this time, all of our offices remain open with a large majority of staff reporting. We do not anticipate any significant change at this time, but as the news develops in the coming days and weeks, we will adjust as necessary and keep you well-informed. In the event that select personnel or all personnel are required to work offsite, we are well-equipped to continue normal operations through remote work. Buchbinder has sophisticated and well-tested technologies that will approximate our office environment virtually. Although municipal or state directives may prevent our staff from being able to make on-site visits to clients, we will do our utmost to meet the demands of scheduled work.
We are pleased to learn that the Secretary of the Treasury will enforce a delay to the April 15 tax deadline this year. This will allow individuals and small businesses some flexibility and relief, and will provide some much needed peace of mind. We will be sure to keep you informed of the revised tax deadline, and any ways in which this may affect you.
Above all, we would like to express our sincerest hope that you, your family, your friends, and your workforce are all healthy and able to minimize the effects of this health crisis. We all stand together in facing these challenging times. Please reach out to us, whether to ask a question or to seek support.
